Hi,
There might be a communication issue between your laptop and the Roku TV, possibly related to the network or a Windows setting.
Check Network Settings
- Same Wi-Fi Network- Please ensure your laptop and Roku TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, devices connected to different bands (2.4 GHz vs. 5 GHz) may need to communicate properly.
- Private Network- Ensure your laptop’s Wi-Fi network is set to "Private" in Windows settings. To check this:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
- Select your network, and make sure it’s marked as Private.
**** The wireless display feature may have been disabled or corrupted. Try reinstalling or enabling it-
- Open Settings > Apps > Optional Features.
- Scroll down and find Wireless Display. If it’s not installed, click Add a feature and install it.
- You can remove and reinstall it to refresh the feature if it's already installed.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other queries.
Have a good day
