So I know how to do this, but the tricky part is that I don't have windows activated so I cant just go to settings and connect. My pc has to automatically connect to it. Its registered as a input device and it detects sound it just won't connect to where I can actually use it. Any help?

    Hi Jackson,

I have reviewed the issue, and from my understanding, If you're having trouble connecting your input device (like a microphone or headset) without being able to access Windows settings, you can try a few methods to resolve the issue. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and connect your input device:

    Step 1: Use Device Manager

    1. Open Device Manager:

o Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.

    1. Check Input Devices:

o Expand the Audio inputs and outputs section.

o Locate your input device (e.g., microphone or headset).

o Right-click on it and select Enable if it's disabled.

    1. Update Driver:

o Right-click on your input device and select Update driver.

o Choose Search automatically for updated driver software to ensure you have the latest drivers.

    Step 2: Use Audio Troubleshooter

    1. Run Troubleshooter:

o Even without activation, you might be able to run the audio troubleshooter.

o Right-click the volume icon in the taskbar and select Troubleshoot sound problems.

o Follow the prompts to identify and fix issues with your input device.

Step 3: Check for Automatic Connection

    1. Plug and Play:

o Ensure your input device is properly connected to your PC. If it’s a USB device, try different USB ports.

o For audio jacks, make sure they’re fully plugged in and the correct port is used (usually marked with a microphone icon).

Step 4: Restart Windows Audio Service

    1. Open Run Dialog:

o Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.

    1. Enter Services:

o Type services.msc and press Enter.

    1. Locate Windows Audio Service:

o Scroll down to find Windows Audio.

o Right-click on it and select Restart.

Please let me know if any of these steps help or if you need further assistance!

    Best regards,

    Arvind
