Missing d3d12.dll files

Hi, I am currently running Windows 8.1 on my laptop and I am trying to use Davinci Resolve 19 but when I try to access it, it says I don't have the d3d12.dll file. I was looking online when I found a related Microsoft question asking the same thing and it said I would have to upgrade to at least Windows 10. I tried looking for alternative solutions in hopes that I could solve my problem as my laptop doesn't have a part to upgrade to Windows 10. That's when I found a site that allows you to download the files, but me being the cautious person I am decided to ask around some trusted sources before I downloaded this.     That is not an approved link for here by Microsoft and has been deleted for safety reasons.

    Two things you need to know.

    1. The free upgrade to 10 ended last year.
    2. Microsoft doesn't even sell 10 any longer.
