Hi,

When I plug in my Microsoft 2.4 Ghz Transceiver v7.0 for my 2000 wireless keyboard and mouse, it's not recognized anymore by any computers, i've used it for more than a year and it worked fine, but now it's like if none of my computers are recognizing the usb transceiver so i can,t use either my keyboard or my mouse?

I am having the same issue with the reciever dongle. It seems such a waste to need to replace a keyboard & mouse because of this. We have had this kit for more than a year, there is no option to replace the dongle ?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If that USB Transceiver is now working on more than one PC, then that USB may have failed, and it is not possible to get a replacement, because those mouse and keyboard sets are paired specifically to that one USB Transceiver.

Is that device still in warranty, and did you purchase that directly from Microsoft or form a PC Shop?

I am having a similar problem. Everything worked for about a week then all of the sudden stopped. How do I get a new USB Transceiver. Here is my info on the Transceiver: Microsoft 2.4 gigahertz transceiver v7.0 model: 1423 / PN X942527 - 001 PID 02202 - 523 - 6267016 - 81922
