Windows 11 has the same 10.0NT as Windows 10?

I saw that windows 10 and 11 are NT 10.0, why is that? Will there be windows12?

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Windows 11 is built on top of Windows 10, like most previous versions of Windows, it is not a completely new operating system, it is normal for it to show ad NT 10.0.

    There were many rumours about Windows 12 a while ago, which seemed to have originated from Intel, but nothing was confirmed by Microsoft at that time and those rumours seem to have stopped now, so it is not clear yet if there will be indeed be a Windows 12.
