Completed above actions and HP Smart still will not open.
HP Smart won't open on Windows 11.
I have spend four hours with the HP help desk and they have concluded that Microsoft is the issue. Are there humans to help with this? I've tried about ten "solutions" here and have made no progress.

2024-09-21T12:42:32+00:00 I used HP printers/scanners for years until they intrduced "Smart" I then had no end of problems, which support couldnt resolve, I then dumped my 3 mth old HP and purchased an Epson, and have had no issues, in the last 2+ years
I wasnt a heavy print user and only updated/installed the full feature software from HP support and followed their setup prompts

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.
My apologies for the experience. Let us try to fix the HP smart app. We will use command line to remove and re-add the HP smart app package. If it does not work, we will repair the Operating System.
In the Windows search,
type cmd, right-click it, and choose run as administrator.
Execute:
winget uninstall 9wzdncrfhwlh
Press Y when prompted. When it is done, restart the computer.
Again, open the Command Prompt and install.
winget install 9wzdncrfhwlh
This should install the HP smart app.
If it still does not open, please follow the next steps.
Open Settings app.
Go to System > Recovery > Fix problems with Windows Update > Reinstall now.
After that HP Smart app should start working.
Hope that helps, and rely on us for any further inquiries. All the best.
