Spaces between folders in Navigation Pane is abnormal

After updating my Windows 11 the spaces between folders in Navigation pane in File explorer is too big. Is this normal?

    In File Explorer, click the three dots next to View and select Options.

    In the Folder Options window switch to the View tab.

    Select Decrease space between items (compact view) => OK.

    Yes, we do use Solidworks. I've also noticed the conversation in this other thread ("Another thread") with a potential fix. We'll ask our IT to investigate.

    Do you have Solidworks PDM installed?

    I am having this exact same issue, and yes Solidworks PDM is installed.

    We suddenly experience the same problem as of a couple of days ago. The 'compact' view setting is already enabled - this is not the solution. Folder spacing in the navigation pane is now much wider than normal on both the compact and non-compact views.
