In File Explorer, click the three dots next to View and select Options.
In the Folder Options window switch to the View tab.
Select Decrease space between items (compact view) => OK.

After updating my Windows 11 the spaces between folders in Navigation pane in File explorer is too big. Is this normal?

2024-10-15T12:21:35+00:00 Yes, we do use Solidworks. I've also noticed the conversation in this other thread ("Another thread") with a potential fix. We'll ask our IT to investigate.

2024-10-10T11:35:55+00:00 We suddenly experience the same problem as of a couple of days ago. The 'compact' view setting is already enabled - this is not the solution. Folder spacing in the navigation pane is now much wider than normal on both the compact and non-compact views.
