    Hello,

Changes to region or addition of a new payment method on Microsoft might sometimes not be available because of the limitation brought by your account settings, account type, or current subscription status.

    • Sign in to your account at account.microsoft.com.
    • Go to Your info section.
    • Click Edit country/region.
    • Select your country/region from the list, and then click Next.

    -To Add a payment Method:

    • Add Payment Method
    • Sign into Microsoft account.
    • Go to area Payment & billing.
    • Click on Payment options.
    • Click on Add a payment method and follow through the prompts.

You could change your region by following the instructions below:

Step 1: Open Settings of your computer, turn to Time& language tab

Step 2: Click the region option in the top right corner, slide down, and change to the region you are actually at in the Country or region option

I was stuck, as I am an Australian wanting to use an Australian Credit card to renew my microsoft 365 subscription, but couldnt because I was in Indonesia and it refused to let me change region.
Called Tech and they advised to open a Private Window in my browser which would block the automatic region reading reading fucntion. Then log in and pay, that worked well
