Hello,
- Use Keyboard Shortcuts:
Most Dell laptops have function keys that allow for direct adjustment of brightness. These are usually located among the F1-F12 keys and include an image of a sun or a brightness icon. - Using Windows Mobility Center: If you use a laptop, then you should be able to adjust brightness using the Windows Mobility Center: Right-click the Start button and select Mobility Center.
In the opened Mobility Center window, you should be able to see a Brightness slider.
Drag it according to your preference.
- Adjust Brightness via Action Center:
In the taskbar, open the Action Center; this is indicated by an icon that resembles a speech bubble.
You will also notice the brightness slider here, which you can slide to adjust the brightness. If the brightness slider doesn't come up, then tap on Expand to show all options - Adjusting Display Settings:
Right-click on the desktop and click on Display settings.
Scroll down to Brightness and colour. If you do not see the brightness slider, conditions such as driver issues or hardware configuration might be the problem.
5.If adjusting brightness is still not an option, you might need to uninstall and reinstall your display drivers:
- Open Device Manager again.
- Right-click on your graphics card under Display adapters and select Uninstall device.
- Restart your PC. Windows should automatically reinstall the necessary drivers.
6.Sometimes, updating Windows can resolve issues with hardware settings:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click on Check for updates and install any pending updates.

Thank you.
