    Hello Ricky,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

Yes, you can safely uninstall the KB5001716 update listed under App settings if you've upgraded to Windows 11.

The Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB5001716) update is specific to Windows 10. With this update, Windows may attempt to download and install feature updates to your device if it is approaching or has reached the end of support for your currently installed Windows version. Since you have already upgraded to Windows 11, you can uninstall the update displayed in the application settings.

Important - However, it's always a good idea to create a system restore point before uninstalling any updates, just in case you run into any issues.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N

    Hallo Windows Community!

Ich habe Windows 10 und kann leider nicht auf Win 11 umsteigen, da mein Laptop dafür zu alt ist!

Kann ich in diesem Fall dann dieses Update for Windows 10 for x64-based-Systems deinstallieren?
