So this just started happening recently after not using my pc for 1 month because i was away. Whenever i go to the roblox website it just doesn't load correctly and if i launch the client from the website that also doesn't load any assets from Roblox or the games.

whenever i press F12 to check the console i juts get a ton of these errors
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

I did some research on this and there was one solution to try and clear the hosts file in C/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts which i did and flushed my dns + restarted my pc after and still didnt work. I think its a specific problem with this machine since i can access the website and everything works correctly on my laptop which is on the same network and is running Windows 11

    Dear Jovan Spasov!

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community!

    Based on your post, I understand that it is frustrating that you are having issues with Windows blocking access to specific websites, such as Roblox.com. Here are some possible troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this issue:

    1. Check your antivirus and firewall settings:

    • Your antivirus or firewall may list Roblox.com as an untrusted website. Check your antivirus and firewall settings to see if there are rules blocking the website.

    2. Reset network settings using the Command Prompt:

    • Open the Command Prompt (as an administrator) and try the following commands: ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /registerdns netsh int ip reset netsh winsock reset netsh winhttp reset proxy

    After executing these commands, restart your computer.

    3. Check your proxy settings:

    • Sometimes, your system's proxy settings may prevent you from accessing specific websites. Press Windows+R, enter inetcpl.cpl, open Internet Options, click Connections, click LAN Settings, check whether the proxy server column is checked, if so, please uncheck it, click OK, apply and restart the computer to see if the problem can be solved.
    • If the proxy is not turned on, you can try to use a proxy software to try to connect.

    4. Reset network settings

    • Press Windows+R, enter inetcpl.cpl, open Internet Options, click Advanced, and check "Use SSL 3.0", "Use TLS 1.0", "Use TLS 1.1", "Use TLS 1.2", "Use TLS 1.3", apply and restart the computer to see if the problem can be solved.

    5. Clear browser cache and cookies:

    • Try to clear browser cache and cookies. For some browsers, this may require you to close the browser and manually delete the relevant folders.

    Disclaimer: Your browser automatically saves temporary internet files to help pages load faster. Clearing this cache will sometimes fix website issues. Please back up all your personal files first, such as Favorites, to ensure you do not lose data.

    6. Run the Network Diagnostics Tool:

    • Windows provides a Network Diagnostics Tool that you can run in Settings > Network & Internet > Troubleshoot Network Problems.

    7. Check DNS Settings:

    • You have already tried refreshing DNS, but you can double-check that you are using the correct DNS servers. Press windows+R and type ncpa.cpl

    Click the name of the network you are currently connected to, open the Network Status window, click Properties, and double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPv4) in the Network Properties window.

    Manually set the DNS servers to "4.2.2.1" and "4.2.2.2", confirm, and restart the computer to see if it solves the problem.

    8. Check Event Viewer:

    • Open Event Viewer and check for any errors or warnings related to the network or security.

    9. Try a different browser:

    • Try accessing Roblox.com with a different browser to rule out browser compatibility issues.

    10. Check for system updates:

    • Make sure your Windows system is up to date, as system updates may contain patches to resolve network issues.

    If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there may be a problem with your system files or registry settings. In this case, you may want to consider a system restore or reinstalling Windows. Be sure to back up important data before doing anything that could result in data loss.

    Disclaimer: Please ensure that you backup any important data, including Documents, Pictures, Videos, and more.

    If reinstalling or resetting the system does not solve the problem, the possible cause is from deeper factors. Please seek technical support offline to confirm the problem.

    Thank you for your understanding and support!

    Best regards,
