Hi LaurenceCassar
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
Based on your description, I understand that you are unable to reinstall omnipage ultimate on a computer with Windows 11, and I understand very well how you feel!
Since I haven't used omnipage ultimate, it seems to be an automation type application as I found out by searching.
It generally installs fine, but you need to make sure of some of the following.
- make sure you are using a version of OmniPage Ultimate that is compatible with Windows 11. Some older versions may have compatibility issues.
- If you have the original installation disk, you can use it. If you have a digital copy, you may need to re-download it from the vendor's website or use a backup of the installation files.
- A license key is required to activate OmniPage on a new computer. This can be found in the original packaging, in the confirmation email, or in your account on the vendor's website.
Please note: Applications like Adobe-branded applications must be activated on the old device's license needs before activating on the new device's license. But I don't know if OmniPage requires such a step.
- If you have problems running OmniPage, try running the program in compatibility mode.
Right-click on OmniPage shortcut or “.exe” executable -> “Properties” -> select “Compatibility” in the upper tab -> check “Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select a different type, e.g. Windows 8, Windows 7, etc.
Other than that, for information related to omnipage ultimate, I suggest you contact the developer of the app. It is possible that the information I have accessed is different from the actual information, but the developer has the most correct information.
I sincerely hope that the above information will help you! Please feel free to contact me(Photos related to the question would be great!) .
Best Regards
