Pretty wild that this worked fine on Windows 10 (extracting multiple files that were highlighted), but with Windows 11 we regressed to a more primitive unzipping function.
When I select multiple zip files, right click and "extract all", it only extracts the first zip to a file named after it.

2024-03-07T23:02:06+00:00 The behaviour is incorrect then, if I have multiple ZIPs selected it should error out then, or display a dialog explaining it will only expand a random zip of the multiple. To be honest it would be best if it didn't extract anything as the user has no means of knowing which of the multiple it will expand. The zip it decides to extract is totally random as I could have the folder sorted in many ways.

Unfortunately Windows' built in extract feature doesn't supporting more than one zip file at the same time. You have to do it one at a time. The "Extract all" means all inside the zip file, not all of the files you selected.
If you need to extract multiple zip files at the same time, you will need to consider third party option. I believe 7zip provides that feature.

It is just not within my capacity to make the change because my contribution here on the forum is indepedent. You will need to put this via the Feedback Hub (Windows + F), so that the employees/product team can hear you.
