I posted days ago about the same thing, No Internet Connection. First ones to contact....the provider...they did nothing. The reason why doesn't matter.....small community, weird terrain, monopoly company.....irritating. A gentleman named Arthur help me here, I ran thru the steps he listed, but it wasn't a go. I'm sure there's more that can be done, just need to know what.

I can get online with my ASUS laptop, no problem, my partner can not. He's running an HP Laptop, both Windows 11. He was able to get a connection til recently.........the basics stuff we've covered,

Appreciate the help here,

Your reply can't be serious! What's step 2 and 3? Update the driver! How are supposed to do that without a connection?

    Hi,

I am Tanvi, and I would be happy to assist you today!

I apologise for the inconvenience and will try my best to help you.

Firstly, Check the Network Adapter in Device Manager-

    1. Press Windows + X and select “Device Manager.”

    2. Expand the “Network adapters” section.

    3. Look for the Wi-Fi adapter (usually named “Realtek RTL8821 CE 802.11ac PCIe adapter”).

It might be a driver issue if it’s missing or has an exclamation mark.

    Secondly, Update Network Adapter Driver-

    1. Right-click on the Wi-Fi adapter and choose “Update driver.”

    2. Select “Search automatically for updated driver software.”

    3. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the driver.

    Also, Reset Network Settings-

    1. Open Settings (press Windows + I).

    2. Click on Network & internet.

    3. Go to the Advanced Network settings tab.

    4. Under More Settings, click Network Reset and follow the prompts.

    5. Restart the laptop after the reset.
