I dealt with the same issue, turning off automatic gain control, and echo cancelation fixed it for me. I also changed my noise supression to krisp to limit key clacks and it worked wonders.

I've been getting told that when I try to speak sentences my microphone will cut out on discord. I'm using a Hyperx Quadcast. Any help is appreciated!

Make sure your input sensitivity is set correctly on Discord settings > Voice & Video. If it is set to "Automatically determine input sensitivity", disable it and set it manually.
