How to Install an SSD to HP Probook 4540s

I am currently stuck in an endless loop of problem after problem. I recently bricked my old HP Probook 430 g5 and came to the old 4540s I had. It was running Windows 10 Pro but was obnoxiously slow. I got my USB flash drive with Windows 10 and attempted to install it with a fresh SSD but it didn't work at all. I got 5 caps lock blinks on selecting boot options-USB to drive with a black screen.. I tried the old HDD which was in the old system and worked perfectly fine with Windows 10 but was very slow, I got another USB to add Windows 7 on it which runs perfectly.. while reinstalling windows 10, I came across that the HDD was set to the MBR partition which didn't support windows but was still running???? I changed it to GPT and Windows loaded up. Any ideas as to why the SSD does not work in the system and why the old one does? *The copy of Windows runs perfectly fine I tested it out on a friend's system* My bios is set to Hybrid UEFI currently and is running Windows 7 Ultimate with 12 gigs of RAM and the beastly CPU i3-3110M running on 64bits.

    Hi mujtaba,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Depending on your clarification, the HP 4540s is old and its BIOS version may be too old to read SSD. Please put the HDD back into your computer > Update BIOS from the link below and check to see if it detects SSD:

Thank you for replying, I am currently running Windows 7 as stated, Its security certificates expired long ago. I will be installing windows 10 temporarily on the HDD to at least load up the webpage you sent, Hopefully, it will get done within 3 hours to which I will reply as so.
