Hi,

I cannot see the files at the hard drive, it is encrypted, I install the app inside the drive but it does not pop up a window where I can type the password. I am using a Windows 11 Enterprise.

Is there a way to fix it?

Regards.

Hi Cagdas, I am Jayshri, Independent Advisor here to work with you on this issue.

If your Iomega drive is encrypted and you're unable to see any files, along with not getting a popup to enter the password, here are some steps to help you resolve the issue:

    1. Go to your Iomega drive in File Explorer and find the Iomega encryption program. Double-click to open it.
    2. Right-click the encryption program and choose Run as administrator.
    3. Right-click the program, select Properties > Compatibility, and check Run this program in compatibility mode. Choose Windows 7 or Windows 8.
    4. In File Explorer, go to View > Show > Hidden items to see if your files are hidden.
    5. Connect the drive to another computer with the Iomega software installed.
    6. If the program doesn’t work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Iomega encryption software.

If you still can’t access your files, contact Iomega support for help.

Let me know if you need anything else!
