Thank You, Mr Gunasekar for helping, really much appreciated
Hp Laptop keyboard not working, and driver gone from device manager!!
After I updated my drivers to their latest version my keyboard stopped working, so I look into my device manager notice the keyboard driver has a error code 40, so I had uninstall the driver and went into action to the scan to try to install my keyboard driver but for some reason my keyboard driver has not been installed and the keyboard category has been completely gone, After that i went into view and hidden to see if its hiding but its truly gone.
I done everything, reset pc (driver came back but still didn't work), update driver, checked the hardware (everything is connected well), troubleshoot, and even troubleshoot hardware application but found nothing to fix my problem.\
Please Help.

It's great to hear that the device's performance has improved. However, since the keyboard is no longer working, have you checked if the keyboard functions properly in the BIOS utility environment?
Please boot your HP laptop in BIOS utility mode and check if the keyboard is working properly. If it works, make sure the keyboard function is enabled in BIOS.
If it still not working on Windows, you can try a repair install by following the steps below.
- Download the Windows 11 Installation media tool.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...
- Run the tool and select the ISO file.
- Once the ISO file is downloaded, right-click the file and select mount.
- Open the mounted drive, and double-click the setup.exe file to run the repair installation.

Usually, Error Code 40 means that Windows is unable to access the hardware because the service key information in the registry is either missing or incorrectly recorded.
From the provided screenshot, it appears your system's BIOS is outdated. To resolve this, download and install the latest BIOS version using the link below.

After installing the updated BIOS, restart your computer and check if the keyboard is detected properly.
Let me know if you need more help.

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.
I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue. I suggest using a USB keyboard as a workaround.
Using an external keyboard, press the Windows + R keys, type msinfo32, and hit Enter. Then, please share a screenshot of the System Information window.
If you don't have an external keyboard, just let me know the make and model of your HP laptop. You might want to download and install the chipset drivers for your laptop model from the HP website.
Best regards,
Gunasekar N
