Open up Settings --> System --> Clipboard. Unselect "Suggested actions". Turn off the "Clipboard history" option, then back on. This worked for my system.
Win + V (clipboard history) not displaying copied text
Hello, I use Win + V every day. It is very useful. I noticed it stopped working right after installing the most recent Windows update "2024-09 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5043178)".
The Problem:
I copy text, and when I press Win + V, the text does not show up as copied. I can use the snipping tool as usual, but the snipped images also don't come up anymore in the clipboard history window. Right click + copy (on anything_ does not show up in the window. The window itself (the clipboard history window) works fine. I can go to the other tabs and everything works fine. The clipboard history just will not show. All it says is "nothing here" and "you'll see your clipboard history here once you've copied something".
Attempted fixes:
Restarting, deleting the folders in "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Clipboard" (which have now reappeared), turning clipboard history off then on again. Nothing seems to work.

2024-10-06T21:55:40+00:00 NOT WORKING FOR ME

2024-11-06T22:06:20+00:00 Unfortunately this does not work for me. "Suggested Actions" is not an option in all markets, including the UK. I was able to force it to appear in the Settings menu option by changing my region and langauge to US, then followed the steps. No luck, the clipboard history is still not working/always empty.
UPDATE 09 December 2024 - now working again following the latest Windows update

2024-10-03T12:17:51+00:00 Nice, thank you! That was driving me nuts. Disabling "Suggested Actions" then toggling Clipboard History off/on seemed to have done the trick.
Thanks again!

2024-10-02T22:55:58+00:00 This issue was in the release preview of 24H2, but it seems it didn't get fixed yet... Nothing is shown, but you can still paste stuff, you just can't see what you copied.
