I just changed the monitor's settings to 59.95 Hz and it's all done!
Problem solved.
Thank you for your time and effort, I really appreciate it.

I've connected a second screen to my laptop (Windows 11 Pro), but I keep getting the message 'Input Signal Out of Range. Please change to 1680x1050 @ 60Hz,' even though I have already set that resolution.
Any thoughts?

Hello there! I am Charity, I'm an Independent Advisor. I'm glad to help you today!
I'm sorry about that. Please check that the refresh rate is set exactly to 60 Hz, as specified in the error message.
In Windows 11, go to Settings > System > Display > Advanced Display Settings to verify or adjust the refresh rate.
Also, please make sure it's on "Duplicate" so that the screen can be checked properly.
Please let me know if this works for you. I'll do my best to respond as soon as possible.
Kind Regards,
Charity

Thank you for the information. Please try adjusting your settings through safe mode, then restart again. Press Win + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.
Go to the Boot tab, check Safe boot, select Minimal, then click OK and Restart.
To exit Safe Mode, uncheck Safe boot in msconfig, and restart again.
Alternatively:
Press Shift + Restart on the power menu (Start > Power > Restart).
Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings and select Restart.
Press 4 for safe mode, 5 for Safe mode with networking.
Please let me know if this works for you. I'll do my best to respond as soon as possible.
Hi Charity,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I managed to upload some photos a little while ago. As you can see, everything is as it should be.
I also need the second screen to be an extension not a dublicate.
However, even when it's set as a duplicate, the message remains.
