I also have the same experience. I can't send a message either.
Why is Copilot keep saying "Sorry we will have to talk later" ?
I used the Copilot voice assistant today for the first time, and the interface was Excellent. However, whenever I start a voice chat, it just shows "Sorry, we will have to talk later."

Hello, I'm curious I have the same message that you are receiving, but it's only on my Android 9 tablet that it happens on ever since the new update? (Or as I call it, the replaced date, if you know what I mean?), I have a Windows 10 PC, and a Windows 11 PC, and I don't have that problem on those two devices, just the Android 9 tablet, so I was curious what type of device, or 's etc that you are receiving that message on, let me know, and in doing so, perhaps it will help to get other people who are commenting to specify their device type, and their OS, to help determine if i happens more or less with certain configurations, or if it's specific to certain devices etc only, thank you, -- MJH.

2024-10-16T01:24:45+00:00 Dear Jaivardhan Sangwan,
Thank you for sharing your experience with Copilot.
The message you are encountering, "Sorry, we will have to talk later," has not been officially acknowledged as an issue yet. However, we’ve received reports from other users experiencing a similar problem recently. This could potentially be a temporary service disruption or an issue being actively worked on by the development team.
To help the development team prioritize and resolve this, we recommend submitting feedback directly within the app:
- Click on your Microsoft account avatar in the top-right corner of the app.
- Select 'Give Feedback' from the menu.
- Provide a brief description of the issue you are facing. The more detailed the feedback, the better it helps the development team investigate.
When more users report the same issue, it increases visibility and priority for the developers to address it promptly.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as the team works on a resolution.
If you need further assistance or have additional questions, feel free to reach out!
Best Regards,
Martin | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
