Is there a trial version of Windows 11 Pro?

I want to use the remote desktop for a computer running Windows 11 so that I can access it from my iPad Air. Is there any way to test this without paying the $99 to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro? Maybe a trial version of the software? Or a buyer's remorse period where I can downgrade and get a refund? This is pretty much the only pro feature that I need, and I'm willing to pay full price if it works for me and I use it a lot, but $99 is a pretty steep price to pay to find out that what I want to do isn't going to work.

Thanks!

    Hello, this is Emily.

Unfortunately there's no trial version. Also, once you upgrade to Pro and want to go back to Home, it requires a full clean install, meaning it wipes all your data and requires data backup.

If you are planning on accessing it remotely from different network, remote desktop app is not meant for that, it requires router configuration, which can get complex.

Have you looked into other option, such as Teamsviewer and Splashtop? They have free option for personal use I believe, and doesn't require additional router configuration if you are accessing it from different network.
