windows sandbox not working

I'm using windows 11 pro 24h2 i upgraded from windows home. Every time i select the windows sandbox in programs and features it restarts says that it failed and has to undo changes and won't work I'm not sure if this is because i upgraded or not. I do have hyper v enabled but it did this before then and on my other computer both work.

My system specs are

Core i7 13gen i7-13620h

RTX 4060 laptop chip 8gb

4TB ssd

16gb of ram

The laptop is KATANA 15 B13V

The error that happens on the reboot is We couldn't complete the features undoing changes and then undoes the changes i really want to use windows sandbox as its good to run applications i don't trust.

unsure if relevant but i have bitlocker and core isolation both on

    a bit late but i could not install sand box onto my win 11 24h2 pc until i ticked the box beside vitual machine platform, after that sand box installed no worries.

    @petermaloney - Are you able to share the full list of features you have enabled before the sandbox installation was successful / what all you have enabled currently? There's absolutely zero clear answer as to what the pre-requisites are for windows sandbox on 24h2 but so far I am unable to install it, even after also enabling "Virtual Machine Platform".

    Sandbox is /incredibly/ useful in my current role at work and not having it functional is a real dampener on a lot of things I do.

    So far I have tried all forms of recovery / repair right up to a complete format and clean install of windows 11 and it STILL. doesn't work.

    It's probably down to a firmware issue at this point with the hardware but it's worth a shot.

    doesn't work it shows on startup We couldn't complete the features undoing changes and then undoes the changes before it boots into windows :( i upgraded windows home to pro from the microsoft store okay so the following command fixed it.

    dism /online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:"Containers-DisposableClientVM" -All

    I’m here to help you today.

    Try re-enabling Sandbox in Control Panel - Programs - Programs and Features - Turn Windows features on or off - Uncheck Windows Sandbox - click OK and restart your computer . Then re-enable Windows Sandbox and restart again.

    And also restart sand box related services by pressing win + R - type services.msc and look for below services then right click on them and click on restart.

    Hyper-V Host Compute Service

    Hyper-V Virtual Machine Management

    Windows Sandbox Network Virtualization Service
