I've run into this issue with several recent Latitude models. In most cases installing all available updates through the Dell Command Update app (especially BIOS updates) resolves the issue. Very irritating nonetheless, especially because users usually find out that the webcam is not working right before entering some important Teams meeting.
The built-in webcam/camera on my dell laptop is not working.
Hi,
Recently my Dell laptop does not recognize the built-in camera/webcam. This is a recent development over the past few days. when trying to access the camera I get the error message: "We can't find your camera" the error code is: 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>

2025-01-13T12:57:05+00:00 Reboot the computer and press F2 several times when you see Dell Logo, until you get into the BIOS mode.
Inside the BIOS mode select the option to "Restore Settings" or "Load Defaults" (whichever is listed)
Save, Exit and Reboot back into the Windows

2024-12-21T20:58:02+00:00 I have the same issue, but with a Dell XPS13, happened shortly after Microsoft update and has not been outstanding issue for over a month. Does not recognize camera, no driver updates work. Keep getting camera not attached error message.
