    Hello Solamillo Charity,

Thanks for the fast and detailed response, regarding my disable services issue in Windows 11.

However, I could not get beyond the first command, msconfig, which resulted in the following statement: "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it."

Unfortunately, I accidentally disabled most of the required services in Windows 11.

Thus, I need to restore all services to the default settings. Please advise.

    Thanks,

    Greg

I'm really sorry about the delayed response. It's possible that it's not being detected as you have deleted the services. Let's see if you're able to boot to Windows Recovery Environment.

Click on the Start menu and select the Power icon.

Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard and then click Restart.

Continue holding the Shift key until the Choose an option screen appears.

From here, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options.

Then please proceed in Command Prompt.

Opens a command-line interface for running advanced commands like sfc /scannow or DISM.

Please let me know if this works for you. I'll do my best to respond as soon as possible.

After Windows + R, type msconfig, I could not get to the System Administration DOS command window C:\windows\system32\cmd.exc

So, I can only get to the following DOS Command line C:\Users\ggold> scf /scannow scf is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file.

    Please respond.

    Thanks,

    Greg

I'm really sorry about that. Let's try to automatically repair/restore them.

First, open Command Prompt as an administrator by right-clicking the Start button and selecting "Command Prompt (Admin)." In the Command Prompt window, type sfc /scannow and press Enter. Wait for the scan to complete; this process might take some time, and the tool will automatically attempt to fix any detected issues. Once the scan is finished, restart your computer.

Next, open Command Prompt as an administrator again. In the Command Prompt window, type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and press Enter. Wait for the process to complete, as it might also take some time to repair the Windows image. Once the DISM process is complete, restart your computer.

If issues still persist, unfortunately, I would suggest to proceed in resetting your computer.

Please let me know if you have any more questions, I'll do my best to respond as soon as possible.

Hello there! I am Charity, I'm an Independent Advisor. I'm glad to help you today!

I'm really sorry that happened to you. Let's try to do a clean boot, then check for corrupted system files.

Press Windows + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.

In the System Configuration window, go to the Services tab.

Check Hide all Microsoft services, then click Disable all.

Go to the Startup tab and click Open Task Manager.

In Task Manager, disable all startup items.

Close Task Manager, then click OK in System Configuration.

    Restart your computer.

Then, open Command Prompt as an administrator by right-clicking the Start button and selecting "Command Prompt (Admin)." In the Command Prompt window, type sfc /scannow and press Enter.

Please let me know if this works for you. I'll do my best to respond as soon as possible.

    Kind Regards,

    Charity
