I recently got a new Windows 10 desktop . I turned off ALL notifications but cant seem to get rid of the ones on app icons in the taskbar , which I have included a screenshot of . The Mail and Messenger apps show a notification each and I cant get rid of or stop that from happening. In fact I have to restart the PC just to clear that in the screenshot . My other desktop doesn't show that at all > same settings on it .
Thanks in advance .

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Right click your Taskbar and select Taskbar Settings.

In there, is there an option to 'Show badges on taskbar buttons'?

If that setting is enabled, disable that setting.

Hi and thanks for the help. I will try that today . I did manage to get rid of the one for Messenger . It was from an old buried message that I never saw. Not sure why with the new PC decided to show it lol .
