I have a Lenovo Chromebook Duet 10.1 and I want Windows 11 instead of Chrome OS. I opened the file Windows11InstallationAssistant.exe and it just won't open. Sometimes, I get the message "This file is designed for a PC using Windows software. This is not compatible with your device which runs ChromeOS. Learn more about opening files on Chrome OS."

How to install Windows 11 on a Chromebook?

Sorry you didn't like my answer, unfortunately I am giving you an honest answer, even though it is not music to your ears.

I cannot recommend using unofficial methods for this, as Chromebooks are specifically designed for Chrome OS. Installing Windows can cause significant compatibility issues, stability problems, and may void your device's warranty.

This is your device's specs. https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/laptops/lenovo/l...

The MediaTek Helio P60T processor does not meet the minimum requirements for running Windows 11. This processor is not included in Microsoft's list of supported processors, and Windows 11 also requires TPM 2.0, Secure Boot capability, and other modern hardware features that the Helio P60T may not fully support.

    Hello, this is Emily.

I'm sorry to inform you that it is not possible to install Windows 11 on a Chromebook. Chromebooks are designed to run on Chrome OS, which is a different operating system than Windows. Windows 11 is only compatible with devices that meet the minimum system requirements, which include a compatible processor, sufficient RAM, and storage space.

If you want to use Windows 11, you will need to purchase a device that meets the minimum system requirements for the operating system.

It may not be supported, but it isn't hard at all to circumvent that and run it anyways.
