Hi there,
I have the same CPU and motherboard.
Did you manage to install Windows 11 somehow?
It would be ridiculous to waste such a powerful processor.

I am reaching out regarding an issue I’m experiencing with installing Windows 11 on my computer. I am using an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X 16-core processor with an ROG Strix X399-E Gaming motherboard. Despite having a high-performance setup, I’ve encountered compatibility issues with Windows 11.
According to the Microsoft AI/copilot, my processor is not officially supported for Windows 11. However, the ROG Strix X399-E Gaming motherboard does support Windows 11, and I have already updated the BIOS and enabled TPM 2.0 as recommended.
Given the impressive specs of the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X and its relevance for high-performance computing, I request that you consider adding it to the list of supported processors for Windows 11. This would greatly enhance the flexibility for users with similar setups and potentially influence my decision to stick with Windows rather than considering alternative operating systems.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

I'm sorry, but your AMD processor is not in the list of compatible AMD processors that support Windows 11.

If your computer does not meet W11 system requirements, Installing Windows 11 is not recommended. If you choose to install Windows 11 on ineligible hardware, you should be comfortable assuming the risk of running into compatibility issues.
