MICROSOFT Support Diagnostic Tool (msdt.exe) requires a "passkey"

This popped up when I tried to run the WINDOWS Update troubleshooter. What is the passkey?.

    And if the above doesn't work, use the new Windows Update Troubleshooter.

    You can launch it by running this command:

    ms-contact-support://smc-to-emerald/WindowsUpdateTroubleshooter

    Note: The above command needs the "Get Help" app to be installed. On some systems, it may be missing, but you can get it from the Store.

    Hi Roddrick, This is Ramesh.

    Please launch the Windows Update Troubleshooter via Settings.

    Open Settings, System, Troubleshoot.
    Click "Other troubleshooters".

    Click "Run" adjacent to Windows Update.

    Alternatively, run this command to start the WU troubleshooter:

    msdt.exe -id WindowsUpdateDiagnostic -skip yes -ep SystemSettings_Troubleshoot_L2 -elevated yes
