Hi,
In our organisation mulitple users get notifications from Teams they have been added to a Teams channel, while they were already a member of this channel.

What's cause of this and how can it be prevented?
Finally AadSync is neither an AD account nor a cloud account, so what is it?

Microsoft Teams Aadsync will add individual members of a security/m365 group when you add that group to a Team. The group will not be added as a member, only its members, and at addition-time only. It could be that when adding groups, its members are already a member, in which case you can ignore this redundant default notification message.

    Hello,

It took a while but the solution for us was to set up Modern Authentication via Microsoft 365 Admin Center in addition to Conditional Access which was already set up before. As a result, certain accounts were no longer randomly locked from the outside and therefore will not be re-signed in Teams channel..
