Windows 11 some games and applications flickering when pressing left click in them

In some games and applications when i press left click the window flickers white and goes unresponsive but only for a moment. They run fine before and after no issues there only when leftclicking the window flickers.

On the taskbar i see the icons look like losing focus and then getting focus once again. (seems like its minimalizing for a moment)

When i click really fast i can bring the windows in front which are behind my focus window, for example i have a game running in the foreground and chrome in the background, then by clicking in the game window the window in the background gets the focus.

Clicking on the icons on the taskbar wont bring the window into focus, i have to click a dozens of time for it to bring it in focus and into the foreground.

The problem is not happening in Valorant (windowed/fullscreen), Factorio, Sea of Thieves etc.

The problem is happening in Genshin Impact, Biinding of Isaac, Minecraft.

Tried looking at the processes, nothing suspicious running in the background nor nothing feels out of place. (Task manager and also Procmon)

Tried WindowsFocusLogger, nothing seems out of the ordinary, whenever i click on any of the windows it just mentions explorer.

Tried all sorts of things from the google nothing has worked.

Windows was and is up to date, for a chance it might solve it i applied for insider beta builds but its still happening.

Chipset drivers, usb drivers, gpu drivers everything is up to date. I also did a clean gpu driver installs, rollbacks.

I made a recording so its better to translate what is my issue.

For clarification i am only left clicking in the video.

Sure it "fixes" it but you lose directx12. This isn't a fix if it breaks something else. This problem has been going on for over 6 months and we have yet to see Microsoft do anything about it. Gaming is broken for windows 11... literally the only reason I run windows at all anymore is for games.

    Hi.

Running said games in Windows 8 compatibility mode solves the issue. (win 10 is not an option *confused*)

No clue why these games are having issues now, did a clean win 11 install recently and i had these issues since, been using the same win 11 since it came out and had no issue with it.

    Fullscreen optimization havent worked.

Mouse drivers are up to date, even removed and reinstalled it.

Overlays are turned off still happening, Xbox gamebar is off but its still enabled and working.

    Havent tried clean boot.

    Display settings are fine.

Well at this point im just running them in win 8 compatibility mode and hope in the future it solves itself anyhow :D

    Thanks for the infos, appretiated.

This is what I have been doing except Diablo 4 is doing this and it requires at least windows 10, so I can not use this to fix the problem, any other ideas?
