Hello Amara Braden, Welcome to the Microsoft Community!

Thank you for posting in the forums

I will assist you in resolving this issue

When your Xbox requires authentication and is unable to connect to Wi-Fi, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

    1. Clear the alternate MAC address:

Press the Xbox button to open the navigation page.

Select Profile and System > Settings > General > Network Settings.

Select Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear.

Restart your Xbox and try to reconnect to Wi-Fi.

    1. Check your router settings:

Log in to your router's settings page.

Make sure you have not enabled access control or removed the Xbox from the list of blocked devices.

    1. Reboot network devices:

Unplug the power cord from your router and modem and wait 5 minutes.

Plug the power cord back in and wait for all lights to return to normal.

Restart your Xbox and try to connect to Wi-Fi.

    1. Contact your ISP:

If none of the above steps solve the problem

You may need to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to check for network issues.

We hope you find the above information helpful and look forward to hearing from you!
