Windows Failover Cluster Can Setup With Active Directory From Zentyal

hi,
currently I have domain controller from another product zentyal.
And i have 2 node server already join domain.

But when I run validate from window failover cluster, I still got error with message "Access Denied"
earlier my user from Active Directory already as administrator level.

so this issue come from windows failover doesn't support active directory from zentyal ?

You may have to ask zentyal about this. Windows Active Directory is a multi-master model. Multi-master replication is a method of database replication which allows data to be stored by a group of computers, and updated by any member of the group. Any change made to any domain controller is automatically replicated to all other domain controllers. This happens automatically and you don't have to do anything to make it happen. So there is no need to cluster windows domain controllers.

sorry i mean 2 node server will be setup windows failover cluster for Enable feature Always On High avaibility from sql server.

so from you answer i need to ask zentyal is support multi-master model ? correct ?

According to their list of features for the Directory & Domain component, it does not support this as it is not listed.

It does not support Server OS either and therefore no Failover Cluster is possible:
Supported OS: Windows® XP/Vista/7/8/10

Please confirm with zentyal that failover cluster is supported. Or you could create a failover cluster following the steps here

Currently i have Active Directory from zentyal

and then I already joined 2 windows server 2012 to domain from zentyal.
after that i setup windows failover one of windows server but i got still failed validate with error access denied.
earlier I already setup user with adminitrator level on AD from zentyal.

That means you have to direct your questions to Zentyal. You do not have "Active Directory" from Zentyal; you have a product similar to Microsoft's Active Directory. Zentyal does not even call it 'Active Directory', because it is not. It is simply a domain service with some features found in Microsoft's Active Directory.

Microsoft is not testing its products and capabilities against the Zentyal product - Zentyal is trying to test its products against Microsoft's. Microsoft does not have access to Zentyal's code to see how they are doing (or not doing) something. Microsoft does not provide any support for clusters outside of the Microsoft Active Directory environment. If you want a resolution to your issue, you need to raise it as an issue with Zentyal.
