So I was given a PC that I can play on and I tried to connect to the wifi and I couldn't seem to find it

It was literally missing from my PC

For a couple of days I tried EVERY solution I can find on the Internet and i failed.

If anyone can find a perfect solution I would appreciate it, thank you.

Tanner, thank you for the screenshot.

Click the link below to go to your PC manufacturer's website.

    • Download and install the "Wireless LAN Driver" for your device.
    • Once installed restart your computer.

First, Download and install the Realtek Wireless LAN Driver for your PC and restart it.
If that didn't work, download the Atheros driver from the same website and see if it makes any difference.

Let us know how it goes.

    Best Regards,

    Hello Tanner,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

If the Wi-Fi option is missing from your device, the issue may be related to the network adapter. To resolve this, you will need to download and install the compatible network drivers for your specific PC model. To help us find the right driver, please provide the following information:

Type msinfo in the search bar on the taskbar and click enter. Post a screenshot of the resulting dialog box.

we will be waiting for your reply.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N
