I think there is a hardware problem with either the charger, the power board inside the laptop or the power port on the side of the laptop, it would be best to have a PC Repair Shop test them again.
Laptop charger keeps connecting and disconnecting and heating up super hot.
So randomly one day my battery kept disconnecting and connecting and my laptop just started to heat up and lag a lot and my battery charger tip (the metal bit that enters the charging hole) would get so hot to the point where the plastic thing that covers it started softening up/melting and I could literally use my fingernails to create dents in it. I thought there was a problem with my fan so I went to a tech shop in person and they didn't know the problem was after checking inside but charged me an insane price to replace the fans anyway so I left. After that day my laptop hasn't been heating up anymore but my charger still remains hot and keeps disconnecting and connecting and I am unsure of what the problem is and what to do as I have tried to scan in any ways I know how too. However it still does charge if I place it still in a specific spot for some time.

I had originally thought perhaps there was a problem with the thermal paste but honestly it is just the charger that gets hot.

From your description of the problem, there is either a problem with the transformer in the poser adapter on your laptop or with the power port on your laptop, it is not a software problem, I do not know why they replaced the fans, from your description it is a power problem.
What is the make (Dell, Lenovo, Asus... etc.) of your laptop?
