Laptop stuck on Aptio Setup Utility

Hello!

I powered on my laptop and instead of powering up it opens Aptio Setup Utility. System time is not changing, and none of the keys on the keyboard responding, so I cannot exit the utility or use the menu. After rebooting the laptop with a button it opens the same thing. I tried holding the button for 30 seconds, waited 30 minutes and then boot again, but the problem is still here. Is there a way I can reinstall windows or boot it somehow to create a backup of my files? If not, please tell a way how to reinstall BIOS and windows completely if I won’t be able to save my files, as I cannot enter BIOS through F2, it still opens the Aptio and keyboard doesn’t respond.

I have XMG NEO 15 XNE15M18 laptop, Win 10, intel I7 8750H nvidia gtx1060

Thank you for replies!

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Aptio Setup is usually your BIOS, you indicate you cannot access BIOS, please provide a photo of that Aptio screen you see on startup.

If your keyboard is not working in Aptio, is your mouse working in there, and if so, can you find the Boot Priority list or click the option to restore BIOS defaults?

Thank you for that information, I see you have tried the usual method to reset your BIOS and that has not solved the problem, and because you are using a laptop it would not be easy to remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard to reset your BIOS, you will need to bring your laptop to a PC Repair Shop they will need to re-flash your BIOS, and then hopefully Windows will boot up normally, there is no indication of a problem with your drive, so all your files.. etc. will still be on your drive.

    Hi!

This is the photo of how it looks after I boot the laptop: system time does not change, clicking mouse also does nothing (tried both wireless and wired mouse), everything is just frozen. F1, F2, etc keys are not responding as well.
