Windows 11 offered it as an optional update and i thought it's Realtek Lan Driver which i wanted to update.

How can i completely undo it or uninstall?

System restore was disabled when i installed it and Windows update don't let me delete it.
Doesn't appear in installed applications either.

Clint Eastwood: "a man's got to know his limitations".

If you can't understand such a simple answer, you have zero business uninstalling ANYTHING on your computer just because it "bothers" you.

    1. You have a Windows 11 computer.
    2. the link that YOU provided has a ancient Windows 7 driver --- which clearly spells out in my screenshot with a 2012 date driver.
    3. I clearly told you that when you plug in your usb wifi dongle, it will have the newest driver (which is dated Oct 14, 2024 as 1030.44.1014.2024).

If windows gives you an OS update, accepts it. If windows gives you a driver update, accepts it.

You have no business to be "bothered" by it.

It is a realtek wifi driver.

Which means that either your motherboard has a realtek wifi chip or that once upon a time you plugged in a realtek USB wifi dongle.

I got a cough, I am not going to self-diagnose myself medically --- even if it is my body.

If you can't figure out that the first 2-3 google results would tell you that it is some sort of realtek USB wifi dongle, then tell me what is the point for you to be a hero and become an IT specialist to your own computer.

My warning to you is GOOD FAITH WARNING. Sometimes, being honest and truthful is hard.

Hi, good day! I'm John Dev a Windows user like you and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, Rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.

Note: It is always recommended to download and install drivers from the manufacturer's Support page. If you're not experiencing any hardware issues, there's no need to install this driver update.

Are you having any issues after installing the said driver update?

Based on the driver model, it is related to the Realtek Wireless driver.

To uninstall it, I recommend visiting your manufacturer's support page and download the latest Wireless driver for your device.

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns by clicking the "Reply" button at the end of my response. I will appreciate it.

    Kind regards,

Your usb wifi dongle has a realtek rtl8192 wifi chip. Here is the driver from the link you posted (which only has windows 7 driver). Now when you plug that usb wifi dongle, it will have the newest driver.
