I need to change specific view setting in Explorer not found in Options
With latest Windows, when I open in Explorer I noticed that the files and folders are sorted by "today" or "previous" or "A-H" and then "Q-Z". How I can remove this from the view? It is very annoying and visually disruptive? There is nothing in the Options to alter this setting. Honestly, not sure what the purpose of this is? The beauty of Explorer is that can sort by "name" or "date modified" or "file type". Adding these index headers is just redundant and ridiculous.

Can you tell me which folder you are currently in when you tried to do this? If you don't mind, can you share a screenshot, where I can see the group by section (like the today, yesterday) or name A-H, etc like you described, and then show me your Group by option after you click on Sort. That way I can have a better picture of what else might be missing here. Thanks!!

Looks like the Group by was enabled. See my screenshot. You can go to Sort > Group by > none to turn it off.
