    Hi,

While it's possible to redirect AppData by editing the shell folder location in the registry, doing so causes problems when installing a Feature Update. The setup will most likely fail due to a migration error.

You can instead do the following:

    1. Redirect the shell folders such as Desktop, Documents, Music, Music, Videos, and Downloads to another partition. To change the location of a personal folder, follow these steps:
    • Right-click the personal folder, and then click Properties.
    • Switch to the Location tab in the dialog box.
    • Click Move....
    • Select the destination folder path and then click OK.
    1. Turn off the paging file on the OS partition. You can enable it in the non-OS partition.
    2. Turn off hibernation if you don't use the feature. But it turns off Fast Startup as well. There is a way to turn off hibernation without disabling Fast Startup.
