TEMP and TMP are set to Z:\Temp, as per the log.
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment
Not sure what's changing it to Z:. You can try a clean boot to test.

Hi all
I'd appreciate some assistance. I am trying to update a HP thin client image which is updated with DISM and while this is often problematic, normally persistence pays off (and often installing the patches in a certain order!)
Anyhow the last patch I was able to install on this device was KB5040427 which installed without error.
Since then there have been 3 cumulative update and all fail. Windows setup in event viewer reports 0x800f0922
I honestly don't know how to navigate the vast CBS log to efficiently see the issue, can someone assist me please?
