    Hi maximilian hallek,

    Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community.

In your description, you tried to enable secure boot and TPM features in the BIOS, but received no security device found.

I noticed that you patiently checked the BIOS and provided us with the motherboard model number. Thank you for gathering information and making attempts to resolve this issue, I do understand the frustration and chagrin that the computer is not currently running Windows 11 properly.

A “Security Device Not Found” error usually indicates that the system is unable to detect the TPM (Trusted Platform Module), which is required to install Windows 11. Given your motherboard model (Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX), it should support TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot.

You can refer to the following steps (or the motherboard manual) and try to check and confirm, in the BIOS, that secure boot and TPM have been booted correctly

1 Go to BIOS/UEFI as guided by the motherboard manual.

    2 Enable TPM

    Navigate to advanced settings:

Look for a tab or section called Peripherals, Advanced, or similar.

In that section, locate the AMD CPU fTPM option (since the AMD CPU used on the B650 motherboard has fTPM (firmware TPM)).

    Enable TPM:

Set the AMD CPU fTPM to Enable.

If there are dTPM (discrete TPM) and fTPM (firmware TPM) options, please make sure to select fTPM (for your setup).

    3 Enabling Secure Boot

    Navigate to the Startup section:

Locate the “Startup” or “Secure” sections.

    Locate the Secure Boot option.

    Set Secure Boot to Enabled.

If there is an Operating System Type option, set it to Windows UEFI Mode.

    4 Save and Exit BIOS

    Save changes and exit:

Press F10 to save and exit BIOS.

Confirm the changes at the prompt.

Of course, the above steps may not be very accurate, and if you wish to get a more accurate scenario, you can contact Gigabyte's support staff at the link below, and they will be able to provide you with more targeted assistance on the setup and configuration of your Gigabyte motherboard.

If you have already done this, then you may need to perform some scenarios in the BIOS, such as, updating or resetting the BIOS, or verifying that the TPM is functioning correctly, etc., and you will still need to contact GIGABYTE's support staff at the above link to help you with these actions.

Also, please let me know what method you used to install Windows 11.

We will provide you with further assistance based on the results of the attempts.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
