Installing Windows Media Player.

When I try to add Windows Media Player in System - Optional Features I get an error message saying 'couldn't add', as shown in the screenshot below.

    Sorry, I missed some instructions.

    Open the Start Menu, type CMD and select "Run as administrator"

    Paste the command and press enter:

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    Restart the computer and try again.

    Open the Start Menu, type CMD, paste the command below and press enter:

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    Restart the computer and try again.

    The message I got is Error: 740 'Elevated permissions are required to run DISM. Use an elevated command prompt to complete these tasks', as you'll see in the screenshot.

    When I try it from this menu, I get an error message saying 'Windows couldn't complete the requested changes. The configuration registry database is corrupt'. Here is the screenshot.

    I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.

    Try to add it from this other menu:

    Open the Start Menu, type Windows Features and open "Turn Windows features on and off"

    Expand "Media Features", select "Windows Media Player Legacy (App)" > OK
