When I try to move my desktop icons to the bottom row, it instantly goes back to the row above. This is only on my mainscreen though on my other screens it does work.

    Hello Yorn,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

Could you try right-clicking on your desktop and Select View > uncheck the "Auto Arrange icons" and "Align icons to grid" options? This should allow you to move the icons anywhere on your desktop.

If you are still experiencing issues, try adjusting your display resolution and scaling.

    1. Go to Settings > System > Display settings.
    2. Select Scale and layout. (Adjust the scaling and see if it allows you to move the desktop icons on the bottom)

Alternatively, try clearing the Icon cache using the commands below.

    1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator, execute the commands one by one and click enter for each command.

    ie4uinit.exe -showtaskkill /IM explorer.exe /FDEL /A /Q "%localappdata%\IconCache.db"DEL /A /F /Q "%localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer\iconcache*"start explorer.exe

    1. Type exit and restart your computer.

Let us know how it goes. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N
