HDMI doesn't show up in Playback Devices anymore

PC: Dell Inspiron 5400 AIO
TV: Samsung 55 QLED

I'm using a HDMI cable to connect my PC with a TV, video goes through but audio for some reason doesn't. I tried different cables and a Nintendo Switch and both worked with the TV and managed to put out Audio without me configuring any settings anywhere. Wireless connection also manages audio (Shows up in Playback Devices as well) but the video lag is really annoying then. I used to be able to connect my PC with a TV and audio worked well there but that was a while ago and I don't remember if I configured any settings there. Now when I connect my PC and TV via HDMI, it just doesn't show anything different in the Playback Devices tab.

I tried updating any drivers, reconnecting cables, checking settings on both devices though it's quite confusing that my Switch & Wireless connection still work fine with audio and my PC did with another TV.

Used DDU in safemode and reinstalled Intel drivers, and seems to have changed nothing.

As I said above the video goes perfectly fine, which wouldn't even be the case if I used HDMI-In on my PC. Neither did the Intel Iris Panel help as it only has settings related to visual, not audio.

    Hi ,

It must be disabled, do the following go to the start menu > Settings > System > Sound > Sound Control Panel > Right click select the Show devices that are disconnected or disabled.

Take a screenshot and post it here.

    Hi ,

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

You didn't put it in the wrong input because this all-in-one has two HDMI inputs, one for output and one for input.

Check the Intel Iris panel to see if the HDMI has audio enabled.

    Hope this helps.
