Method 1.
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in Options.
- Under additional settings, turn off the toggle for "For improved security, only allow Windows Hello Sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device (Recommended).
Method 2.
Run a System File checker Utility scan.
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator (Execute the command one by one below and click enter)
Run a System Scan - System File Checker is a utility in Windows that checks for problems with files on your computer. To run it, follow these steps:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealthDISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealthDISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealthsfc /scannow
(Once completed, restart your computer)
Method 3.
Delete the NGC folder and set the PIN again.

• Once the files and folders are deleted from the NGC folder, go to Settings > Sign-in options and reset your PIN.
• Check if you can sign in to your device without encountering any errors after the PC has gone into sleep mode.
