camera started working fine again, but today after testing some online tool for camera it shutdown and did not worked again.

I tried searching for new camera driver but never found companies official website. Now lastly trying out my luck here.

Here's the system's specification..

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 4600H with Radeon Graphics 3.00 GHz

Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.37 GB usable)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Laptop Model: Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05

Camera Manufacturer: Sonix Technologies Co., Pvt Limited (according to the driver details)

Currently can't even see the device in device manager after uninstalling the device drivers.

Tried both available USB device Driver and Integrated Camera

Oh, Something worked for me I uninstalled the device driver including the Integrated camera device and installed the driver mentioned in the screenshot_1 above. As you can see the device is working fine for now.. I guess?

Here's what I did Go to the device manager > uninstall the Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Failed) > Click on the view tab above > select show hidden devices > expand your camera device > right click on your Integrated Camera > uninstall

Once uninstall process finishes install the latest downloaded driver for your device (mine was from lenovo support site)

    > Install the driver > shutdown the pc (yeah do not reboot it) > start your pc > if the camera shows same error > right click on the

Unknown USB Device > update driver > browse from the computer > let me select > select the compatible one (as it is the only one listed) and your camera may start working again don't know if it will work for everyone though

I have exactly the same issue now with multiple Stone Book Pro computers on our site running Windows 11 where the camera is no longer showing in Device Manager and therefore is inaccessible. This must be a Windows Update issue as I know it used to work just fine.

I've just managed to get one device working having used the Fn-F10 toggle and then reset the Privacy. The camera re-enabled and was unhidden in Device Manager. I found the camera in Device Manager was hidden by using View / Show Hidden Devices

Installed the available driver but when installation finishes the camera works for moments and show the same error again.

In Device manager panel it looks like this:-

Is there not some alternative driver for integrated camera like some open source project or something. this issue didn't exist till windows updates last 2-3 months ago.
