Hello Andrew3211,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.
You may experience this error if the Wi-Fi network drivers are corrupted or missing from the device. This can happen due to multiple reasons including third-party software or after installing any latest Windows updates. To resolve the issue, try re-installing the Wi-Fi drivers and see if it helps.
1. Re-install Existing Wi-Fi drivers from the Device Manager.
a. Go to Device Manager.
b. Expand the arrow next to Network Adapters.
c. Right-click your "MediaTek WiFi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN" driver, select Uninstall device, select the Attempt to remove the driver for this device check box, and then select Uninstall.
d. Once the driver has been uninstalled, Restart your computer.
Windows will re-install the wi-fi drivers during the restart and you should see the Wi-Fi icon on the taskbar again. If it doesn't, install the Wi-Fi drivers from your PC manufacturer's website.

Note - The link above will redirect you to your PC manufacturer's website. Download and install the MediaTek WLAN Driver. Once installed, restart your computer and connect your PC to a Wi-Fi network.
I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.
Best regards,
