games being capped at 60 FPS

While I was playing rocket league, I noticed that the FPS was being capped at 60 FPS. I usually get 180 - 200 FPS. These changes might've happened when I installed the Nvidia app. I've tried uninstalling the Nvidia app, reinstalling Rocket League but nothing has worked. I really need to fix whatever happened since I can't play the game at all, there's like an input delay now.

After messing around, I've found out that the issue occurs when I set the game to "Full Screen". This issue wasn't happening before. I don't like to play on windowed and I still want to find a solution to this.

Another thing that I noticed is there is no delay after Alt + Tabbing. Usually there's a second or two delay before changing tabs.

A person in the Rocket League community support on Discord has helped me to solve this issue. The issue was the Nvidia app messed with the "Compatibility" section on the RocketLeague.exe and I had to manually disable the full screen optimizations. I am no longer facing this issue/problem.

Yes, I've readjusted the in game settings but it's capped at 60 FPS on Full-Screen only. The "Optimize" option or the Nvidia app itself might've changed the behavior of the game

The "Optimize" option only makes changes in the game's graphic configuration, have you tried to reset the settings to default?

Yes, the problem is happening with this game.

I've already updated my windows recently, I've also checked just now and there are no pending updates.

    Here's a screenshot as proof.

To add more detail, I'm pretty sure this issue occurred when I clicked on the "Optimize" button on the Nvidia app.

My name is Jonathan Deives. I'm an Independent Advisor and I will be happy to help you.

Is the problem only happening with this game?

Click on the start menu and type Windows Update, check if there are any pending updates.
