Everyone who is facing this issue, just search for Bonjour SDK and install it. It resolvde the issue for me on Windows 11.

Hi, My name is Ahmet, and I am an Independent Advisor. I hope you're well, I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. I'd be more than happy to assist you.

Make Sure iTunes is Up to Date:

It is important to use the latest version of iTunes. To update iTunes, download and install the latest version from Apple's official website: Download iTunes: https://www.apple.com/itunes/

Install Apple Mobile Device USB Driver:

Connect your device to the computer and close iTunes.

Open the Run window by pressing Win + R.

Open Device Manager by typing devmgmt.msc.

In Device Manager, find “Apple Mobile Device USB Driver” under “Universal Serial Bus controllers” or iPhone under “Portable Devices”.

Right-click the iPhone and select “Update Driver”.

Click “Select driver software from my computer”.

Select “Let me choose from the device drivers on my computer”.

Click on the “Have a floppy disk...” button.

Browse to find the following file path: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers

    Select the usbaapl64.inf file.

    Installing Drivers with Windows Update:

Right-click the iPhone in Device Manager and select “Update driver software”.

Select “Automatically search for updated driver software”.

Windows Update can find and install the necessary drivers.

    Restart Apple Mobile Device Service:

Open the Run window by pressing Win + R.

Open the Services window by typing services.msc.

Find “Apple Mobile Device Service” and right-click and select “Restart”.

Let me know how it goes and hopefully it will help.

    Have a wonderful day.

    Yours sincerely,

    Ahmet

Hi Ahmet. Thank you for the info. I tried updating the driver to the usbaapl64.inf file but I got the message that the drivers I have are the latest ones and that the usbaapl64.inf file does not seem to be compatible with x64 system. I have Windows 11. Any suggestions please? Thank you.

I am looking for the Apple Mobile Device Service (AMDS) dirver that will enable my iPod Nano to be recognized in iTunes version 12.13.2.3 so that I can sync the contents on my Dell Laptop with my iPod Nano. It may be old but still very convenient to use. The AMDS does not appear in the list of services.
