Hi all, I have this problem below on Intel(R) Dynamic Tuning Technology Updater Component showing exclamation in the Device Manager.

USB device draining system power when system is idle.

USB Device: VID: 0x5AC PID: 0x12A8 REV: 0x1201

Removal action failed: SkippedAsPersistentIoObserved

Device SWC\VID8086_DTTCFG_1.0\4&3a2389e6&0&00 was configured.

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There are no compatible drivers for this device.

To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.

I Installed all these below for my Alienware R15 from Dell website and still seeing this issue in the Device Manager. Anyone can advise or was able to resolve such issue?

Dear, I'll comment on what works for me, I have an Asus strix g18. What I did was delete the device from administrator, then reboot. Install the new driver, I leave link " https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/GamingNB/Image/Driver/Chipset/35985/DynamicTuning_ROG_Intel_J_V1.0.11401.39039Sub1_35985.exe?model=ROG%20Strix%20G18%20(2024)%20G814". Instead of restarting, turn off the computer crudely, shift + turn off the computer. Then I did a memory wipe and power drain by holding the power button for 60 seconds. Upon booting, driver problem solved. I add that I also disable fast boot and sysmain.

Disabled fast boot from bios and windows power options and sysmain from service manager. I hope it helps you!

To solve the issue with the Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology Updater Component, there is a very quick solution: download the Driver Easy software from Original site. After installation, open the program and click on the Scan button. If you’re lucky, it will quickly detect the updated version of this driver and place it at the top of the list. You just need to click Update and wait for the download to complete. Once the download is finished, grant it the necessary permissions, and the program will handle the installation automatically.

If the free version of this program doesn’t work for you, you may need the paid version (which you can purchase or use a cracked version, although I recommend purchasing a subscription). I used the paid version for this and it worked perfectly. I'm sure it will work for you too. Good luck!😉

I'm having the same exact issues with my ASUS ROG Strix - ASUS support even told me to factory reset my laptop to try to fix it but it did not work. I have tried everything to fix this

no driver easy tool needed.. that thing won't do anything without payment details

Why point people to a paying tool when you can just point em at the driver that the tool would install , this one:

    https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-uk/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=fd5kg&lwp=rt

    done.

I used their Diagnostic tool and couldn't find any other updates at first.

Thus I manually find the related drivers myself which I have download and installed for my specific computer tag. After reboot still showing the same issue.
